YouTube's new update would give rise to new YouTubers

Posted by Danish Yaqoob at 00:27 4 Comments

In 2017,YouTube has released some rules and updates about its creators and monetization of videos. It includes one most highlighted rule that there must be 10k views on YouTube channel to start earning from your videos. But this don't sands here, after 10k views - YouTube team would analyze your YouTube channel and videos. If you would pass, then videos would be monetized.

Reason for this update:
This is done in order to maintain the quality of ads displayed and keep legit YouTubers up and reward the real people who work hard for each video.

In next few years:
In 2020,you would see only youtubers who would come their self in their videos, they would vlog, make tutorials, funny videos(original comedy) and much unique & real things.
These spam and junk videos to get views and earn would be no longer seen.this process has effected in 2017 and may take two to three years to completely make only YouTube Creators to rise up.

Thanks for reading ,comment below -what you think about this update.

How people are using blogger as social media

Posted by Danish Yaqoob in: Blogger at 10:14

I had observed this year that many people have created their own blog on blogger because it is free and east to use.
In order to use it as a social media, they usually start with their name with blogspot.com as it's domain.
They upload photos, share life events and amazing things happening in their life.

How this helps them on social media?
When they upload their event or photos of a certain program, they share their blog's link on all social networking sites because almost all social network sites offer link sharing except Instagram.
Most of the people share same thing on all their social network accounts.

For Example:
If someone was on his friend's or his own birthday party. He would easily upload on blogger and share on all networks instead of uploading one by one on each social media site.

Easy and Simple Ways to Promote Your Event Using Social Media

Posted by Danish Yaqoob in: Facebook at 10:24 3 Comments
These social media tips are going to boost your presence online. Using social media you can touch new heights and get more costumers.

If you’re busy organizing and planning the logistics of an event, promotion can seem daunting.
There’s so much to do when it comes to event planning — sometimes the last thing we think about is how to actually get people to show up and enjoy the very thing we’ve been working on!
We think event promotion should be fun, though, so we’ve created this list of simple ways to promote your event using the social media networks you already have. We’ve also included some customizableCanva templates within the article so you don’t have to worry about designing promotional materials from scratch.

01. Create an event on Facebook and promote it on your business page

This may seem obvious but it’s for a good reason. Facebook events are ubiquitous, and people see them, interact with them, and, most importantly, get event information from them every day.
Promoting the event on your business Facebook page gives you a double whammy— followers who land on your business page for other reasons will learn about your event, and followers who are invited to your Facebook event can invite their friends!

Gabby Bernstein
Take Gabby Bernstein for example. She’s currently promoting her live masterclass on her professional Page through her cover image. It’s the biggest thing on the page and everyone who lands there will see it. It includes the essential information about the event, and takes advantage of the call-to-action button to get people to register!

02. Use Facebook ads to promote the event

This method requires a small investment, but it can be worth it to help you reach a larger audience who you may not have connected with yet.
Facebook ads can target specific a demographic so you can be sure to reach your target audience, which will likely give you a higher conversion rate (i.e. more of the right people clicking and signing up)!
Using a professional-looking image is crucial, as there is so much other visual stimulation on Facebook. Since you’ll be using the ads to connect with new potential customers, you want the best first impression.

03. Post a short video with highlights from similar previous events

People can’t get enough of videos these days, which you can use to your advantage. Show your customers what they can expect from an event hosted by you by creating a video of highlights from last year’s event. Then, post the video on your YouTube channel and on your Facebook page to share it with your friends and followers.
Click-worthy videos always have an attention-grabbing thumbnail that entices people to press play, so make sure yours stands out in a good way. Use a template like the one below to create a beautiful video thumbnail.

04. Design a geofilter to use on Snapchat

Snapchat is a booming social media network and it’s not just for teens. Tons of businesses are using it to communicate with customers, show them behind-the-scenes preparations, and have one-on-one interactions that create personal connections.
There’s a certain exclusivity about geofilters that make them desirable. Users can only use the filter if they’re in a certain place at a certain time… and that could be your event. People snapping geofiltered videos and photos of the event to their friends generates buzz, which can be especially useful if your event happens on a regular basis.

social media promotion ideas that I used to take my brand from zero to hero

Posted by Danish Yaqoob at 10:10
Last year I started my online shopping brand and used social media for its promotion. When someone starts a business he/she knows about it and no one other in this world knows it.

1. Prioritize the Best

You will want to promote all of your business’s social networks. But if you want to win at social media, you need to invest the majority of time on the networks that are popular with your audience. Where areyour potential customers most active? What platform do they spend the most time on?
To maximize your social media ROI, you need to research which networks are delivering the most value for your business. Your investment in social media marketing could be time, money or both. And who doesn’t want to save time and money?
Kate Spade New York is a visually appealing brand that knows Pinterest is the place its fans love to hang out, and it have over 300,000 of them on the platform.
Kate Spade Pinterest
Vilfredo Pareto was famous for developing the principle called the 80/20 rule. Pareto was an Italian economist who was all into maximizing efforts. We don’t have to get into heavy math equations, but the 80/20 rule simply means you get 80% of your results from 20% of your efforts. In other words, there are key actions you can focus on to get the best results and save a lot of time on actions that get little results. It’s a beautiful concept.
Check out Sprout’s Team Report to find out how your team is allocating its time on your social media efforts.

2. Keep Business Business

Your aunt Lola may be super interested in your latest cat video contribution to the web, but your business audience may not be as thrilled. It is best to separate personal from business accounts. This will help you target the correct audience for your goods and services. You may think you want anyone and everyone to follow you, but you do not.
If you do not target the correct audience, you are not going to meet your business goals. Having a “niche” has become such a buzz phrase but it is important to any successful social media and content marketing venture. That does not mean you can never share anything personal on your business profiles.
If you scroll through Peg Fitzpatrick’s Facebook page, there are a ton of valuable business shares and tips. Then there is this:

A dash of personal content. It is like when you cook with a strong spice. A pinch can add a ton of flavor, but too much spice and it’s off-putting. People adore seeing the those behind the curtains of the business. They want to know you are a real human with shared interests and struggles.
Simply build a good ratio of business-related content with a splash of personal. If content ideas are your struggle, read through our post on how to build out your social media content from scratch.

Have Clear Social Media Buttons

Have a blog? Try this social media promotion tactic. Make sure you clearly post social media buttons where readers can see them and easily access your profiles. Make them stand out. You could even consider adding a simple call-to-action above them asking readers to connect. If you guest post on other sites, you may want to consider asking for a link to your social media profiles so readers can follow you.
For example, A Beautiful Mess is a popular blog in the DIY and Lifestyle space. You can see its follow buttons clearly posted in the sidebar and on point with its colorful brand.
A Beautiful Mess Social Media Buttons
Going further, on YouTube, you’re able to add your other social media profiles, so take advantage if you have a channel. Click the pencil icon in the upper right-hand corner of the channel art on your YouTube channel page. Then select “edit links.”
Under the custom links section, you can add a title and URL. After you hit done, buttons for all the links you entered will be displayed. This is a great way to promote your other profiles.

Share in Email

Aside from sharing social media buttons on your blog or website, you can also share them through email. There are a couple of ways you can do this. The first is through your signature. Most email marketing platforms will allow you to add a custom signature.
Why not add some links to your social media profile to make it easy for your recipients to follow you? You can use a service like WiseStamp to add your profile buttons and make your signature stand out.
Another way to share your social media buttons through email is with your newsletters. Before you send out a newsletter take the time to brand it to your business. Services like Mailchimp make this easy through social media widgets. You can add a follow widget with your links to the sidebar or footer of your newsletter.

Implement Hashtag Strategy

Using popular hashtags broadens your content’s reach by allowing your social media posts to show up when people search platforms like Instagram and Twitter for certain keywords. They help potential followers who are interested in your content find it when they may not otherwise. You will want to do a little research to find the most relevant hashtags for your brand.
You can use a service like Hashtagify.meor just do a little stalking of your competitors to see what hashtags are working best for them. Don’t use hashtags haphazardly though. It can be tempting to jump on board with a hashtag that is trending, but if you are using the it in an inappropriate or unrelated manner, it will just turn potential followers off.
Sprout’s Instagram Analytics Report gives insights into your most popular hashtags, which you can incorporate into your future posts. You can do the same with ourTwitter Analytics Report as well. This helps you avoid using random hashtags that aren’t driving engagement.
Try to keep the hashtags down to three or less on Twitter, but you can use more on Instagram. For example, Jeff Bullas shares three relevant hashtags to spread his blog post effectively:

Ask for Follows

You don’t want to be spammy, but asking for followers sometimes is the best method. Using automated messages asking for follows are impersonal and can seem spammy. But when you truly ask, engage or recommend users to follow you, you’re more likely to get a response. Again, a humanistic approach toward engagement is always best. You can even ask others to find you on other platforms for unique content.
The best way to approach new followers is to let them know what is in it for them. Ask users to follow you on Pinterest for your marketing infographics or check out your Twitter get insights on social media marketing tips on Twitter is more specific. It’s a more subtle way to engage and gain new followers while offering value.
Taco Bell Canada asks followers to check them out on Snapchat right in their Twitter Bio.

All these tips can help your social media promotion efforts and get your brand seen. But the No. 1 tip is to always offer valuable content. Share social media posts that provide value through humor, tips or behind the scenes inspiration. It is that value that will keep followers coming back and sharing your stuff.
social media engagement try free banner
You can have your social media buttons and links posted everywhere, but if you do not bring something useful to the table, readers will not engage with your content. At its core, social media promotion is not just about you and your brand. It is about how you can benefit your followers with your content.
That’s what your fans care about. They want to see how you can help them. Make every day a little easier and more fun, and you will gain a loyal tribe. A tribe that will be thrilled to follow, support and buy from you.

7 best strategies to promote yourself on Twitter

Posted by Danish Yaqoob in: Twitter at 04:06
Everyone knows twitter is not a popular and most used social network. No doubt it has users but no active or daily basis users.
Whether you’re trying to promote a blog post, upcoming event or your products, Twitter is a great option. Despite increased competition on the platform and the move to an algorithm based feed, Twitter promotions can still be effective if well executed.
With over 300 million monthly active users, there’s no shortage of people to market to on Twitter. The challenge many brands face is figuring out how reach theirtarget audience amongst all the noise on the network. And even more importantly, how do you do it in a way that’s genuine and doesn’t turn off your followers.
We’ll go over all that and more, to help you launch a Twitter promotion that brings in results.
Understanding the dynamics of Twitter and how people use it can mean the difference between a failed promotion and one that actually meets your goals. Twitter’s conversational nature makes it ideal for brands that want to build relationships with their audience rather than just broadcast their message.
Being successful with your Twitter promotions involves a few different factors coming together:
  • Know your audience: First and foremost, you have to know who you’re talking to. Otherwise your messaging won’t connect. Your copy, graphics and tactics you choose will all depend on who your audience is, so make this a priority. Luckily finding this data is pretty simple with Sprout. We have a report that breaks down the demographics of your Twitter followers.
sprout social twitter audience demographics report
  • Set your goal: What’s the purpose of your Twitter promotion? Do you want more followers? Are you trying to grow brand awareness? Or maybe you’re trying to sell more of your products. Whatever your reasoning, attach a goal to it so you can accurately measure the success of your promotion.
  • Timing: Sometimes it’s not a matter of what you do, but when you do it. One of the tips you’re going to learn in this article is the power of running timely Twitter promotions. Planning ahead and launching your campaign at the right time can significantly increase your chances of success.
  • Strategize: Celebrities and extremely large brands are known for doing spur of the moment Twitter promotions like a surprise live stream or giveaway. And while sometimes these are done off the cuff, the reality is there’s often strategic planning going on behind the scenes. Instead of relying on the power of spontaneity, build out a strategy for your promotions.
  • Provide value: This goes back to understanding who is your target audience. In order for people to feel engaged and compelled to participate in your promotion, you need to provide some kind of value. When your promotions are purely self-serving or are about something your audience doesn’t care about, it’s difficult to build the amount of interest you need to be successful.
If you can nail those elements, you have a much better chance of being successful. The last step in the process is the execution. Even well planned campaigns can fall flat if they’re not put into action properly. In order to help you out, we’ve compiled a list of tactics to help make your Twitter promotions a success. Give any of these strategies a try the next time you want to get your message out with a Tweet.

1. Twitter Contests

Twitter contests are tried and tested. People like free stuff, so a giveaway or contest is great tactic for Twitter promotions. But if you want to get more than just freebie seekers, you have to be strategic with your approach.
Here are some for launching a successful Twitter contest:
  • Make it simple to enter: The more complicated it is to enter you contest, the less likely people will be to participate. It should be clear what people have to do to be eligible and the entry process should be smooth. For instance, you could require people to follow you and Retweet your contest.

  • Integrate UGC: Getting people to submituser-generated content as a part of their entry helps build buzz as well as gives you more content to share.
  • Follow the rules: Twitter hasguidelines for promotions that brands have to comply with to avoid getting shut down. Make sure you read through the list and understand what your brand can and cannot do.
  • Choose a good prize: Pick a prize specific to your company or industry. When you give away prizes like televisions, money or general gift cards, you open the door to tons of freebie seekers. On the other hand, when the prize is a gift card to your own company, you can potentially earn new customers because they’re going to be visiting your website or store.

2. Put Your Bio to Work

Is your Twitter bio a short sentence about your company and nothing more? If so, you could be missing out on a big opportunity when you’re running promotions on Twitter.
Even though the space in your bio is somewhat limited by character length restrictions, you can still get plenty of use from it. You can use your bio to promote specific campaigns you’re launching, your top content or even a landing page.
In addition to a quirky description of what she does and a link to her website, TV producer Shonda Rhimes uses her Twitter bio to push traffic to her TED Talk as well.
shonda rhimes twitter bio
You have the ability to add links within your bio beyond just the URL slot Twitter gives you. Use it as an opportunity to link to your current promotions or an event.
If you’re linking to a page on your website, use a trackable URL so you can attribute traffic from your bio. Check out our UTM tracking guide to find out how to set it up.

3. Use Promoted Tweets

According to one case study, Tweets reach about 3-4% of your audience. With all the content flowing through Twitter, it shouldn’t be too surprising that your Tweets aren’t being seen by all of your followers. One way to help boost those numbers a bit is to use promoted Tweets.
Promoted Tweets allow you to pay to get your Tweets in front of a targeted group of users. Not only can this improve your reach with your own audience, but it also gives you the ability to be seen by accounts that aren’t following you.
There are a few different approaches your brand might take. One is to create a promoted Tweet specifically for a campaign. You’d write out new copy for the Tweet and chose a matching creative.
Another option is to promote one of your existing Tweets to give it more exposure. You can look at your Tweets that have seen some success in the past and amplify them with a paid campaign.
If you’re a Sprout user, you can start by heading into your Sent Messages report. This will show your Tweets with the most engagement.
Sprout Social Sent Messages Report
Tweets with the most clicks, responses and replies are good options to promote because they’ve already proven to be popular. Then you can replicate the Tweet or try to create something similar. One of the advantages you’ll have this time around is the ability to target who sees the Tweet.
If you’re new to the world of promoted Tweets, check out our beginner’s guide to Twitter advertising.

4. Don’t Be the Annoying Spammy Marketer

You want to get the word out about your campaign, but it’s easy to go overboard and get a little spammy. Reaching your audience without becoming annoying can be quite the balancing act.
According to our Q3 2016 Index, 57.5% of users are annoyed by brands that post too many promotions.
annoying actions brands take on social media
To avoid annoying your audience, keep promotional Tweets to a minimum. Just like with any other social network, your top priority on Twitter should be to provide value. So a majority of your Tweets should serve that purpose, rather than strictly focusing on increasing your bottom line.
There’s no magic ratio of promotional to non promotional Tweets. It’s something you’ll have to test with your audience to find out what gets the best reception.

5. Go Live With Periscope

Live video became wildly popular in 2016, and continues to be one of the top social media trends of 2017. While Facebook and Instagram Live tend to get a lot of the attention, Twitter has been on the live streaming wave for a while. In fact, they were so confident in live streaming early on that they bought Periscope in 2015before the app even launched.
Take advantage of the live streaming movement by using Periscope to host Q&A sessions, events or just to chat with your followers. Periscope streams appear in your followers’ feeds and tend to stand out more than an image or text.
To increase your viewership, consider adding #Periscope to your Tweet and hold it during a time your audience is most likely to be able to attend. Don’t be discouraged if you don’t have hundreds or thousands of people viewing every time. Focus on making each session as entertaining and valuable as possible for the viewers you do have.

5 Reasons due to which you should use Google Plus Communities for Brand Promotion

Posted by Danish Yaqoob in: Google plus at 03:54
After Facebook, Google+ is another big way for promotion of your business online.
We are familiar with how a Facebook Group functions. Most of us are involved in more than one Facebook page pertaining to one's interest or hobby: Google Plus Communities function in a similar fashion. Google Plus Communities were introduced on 6th December 2012, and since then they have captured the fancy of everyone having shared interests. If used smartly, Google Plus Communities can prove to be a boon for brands as it provides them with a platform to interact with consumers. For example, a manufacturer of travel gear can interact with members of a ‘Hiking’ Community on Google Plus.
5 Reasons To Use Google Plus Communities For Brand Promotion!

The sole purpose of being a part of Google Plus Community should not be increasing sales or traffic to your website, rather a medium to interact and have real conversations with people. The brands who are aware that social media is just a channel that helps them connect with existing customers as well as service potential customers are already ahead in the digital race.
Google Plus Communities marketing!

Here we will discuss 5 ways Google Plus Communities can be used to benefit your SEO:
  1. Create awareness about your brand and services:
The Communities on Google Plus are highly straightforward, as in, a person who has an interest in the main cause of the Community will be a member of that Community. Google Plus also gives an option of starting Public as well as Private Communities. Firstly, a brand should try to interact and have conversations with members of Communities related to their industry. Once a level of trust has been established, then the brand can inform them about the service or product, in a very modest fashion. The aim here is to establish relationship and not push sales.
  2. Start a new Community:
If you are unable to find a Google Plus Community that is related to your service or industry, or, if such a Community exists but it is private and not everyone can gain access, then you can start your own. Setting up a new Community is extremely simple on Google Plus. Once you have created a Community, blog about it, post on your Facebook and Twitter page, and most importantly tell everyone on Google Plus.
  3. Maintain authority on your industry-related discussions:
Google Plus Communities are used as a way of getting answers or solving doubts by many users. Many industry experts are present on Google Plus and people see it as a chance of getting answers from an expert himself. This is when you step up and prove that your brand or service has an authority on discussions related to your specific industry. If your brand has a blog, then you can point the users towards your blog posts that have answers to their questions. And if you do not have a blog, then believe me, it’s never too late to start one. If you take notes from discussions taking place in Google Plus Communities, then it will even provide you with relevant topics to blog about. Make use of such discussions by first listening, learning, and then taking active part in it.
  4. The Public Communities on Google Plus are indexed by Google search
This is the best news for SEOs. Any content that is posted in Public Communities on Google Plus is indexed by Google. Please keep in mind that the Community should be public and not a private one. If you post relevant information about your brand on Google Plus Community, then your brand will have another set of content that will appear in search result for related keywords. The organic visibility of your brand will increase manifold.
  5. Engage with active users:
Google Plus has a balanced mix of influential people and "commoners." Many users, you will find, have their own blogs, websites and even active social media groups. Such users, who are active online, have a natural tendency to influence people who share same interests. A brand must try to engage more with such users. Share insights about your industry with them, and if you have a company blog ask them to write as a guest blogger. Chances are that your brand will have better reach if you simply connect to active influential users.
